Community Guidelines

Here at PocketLive, we care about the well-being of you, our awesome community. We want to make sure that everyone is making this creatively supportive new community the best it can possibly be, and so we’ve set out some guidelines.

No Abuse or Bullying

PocketLive is a safe haven for creatives, broadcasters and for our users. We don’t tolerate bullying or abuse in any form, nor will we accept users sharing graphic, illegal or abusive content on our channels, such as:

• Abuse of any kind. (Child, Animal, Sexual, Physical or Mental etc.)

• Highly violent content.

• Content which violates copyright laws

• Content which incites or galvanizes abuse, hate, or acts of terror.

Play nice, and treat other users with mutual respect. You, the community, play the most significant role in making an unrivalled site for great, friendly sharing of a common love and interest.

We are here to support free speech and creative artistry, but we also draw a line when it comes to attacks on people based on things that could be classed as bigoted, racist, hateful, or other such nasties.

No Sex,Drugs

(But fell free to Rock n'Roll!)

It goes without saying we don’t allow our broadcasters to break the law on-camera, which includes performing sexual acts or doing illegal substances on-air. That rule goes for our users too – sharing behaviour that breaks the law on our platform is a no go.

We also keep a close eye on sexually explicit content, so be aware that flooding a broadcaster’s channel with explicit comments is likely to be rewarded with a ban from the broadcaster. Repeatedly poor behaviour in this regard across the platform will result in further action being taken.

We do not ask our broadcasters to have to be fully clothed at all times, but we do expect boundaries of sexual appropriateness to be followed given the broad age-range of audiences.

No Underage Users

PocketLIVE is designed for users over the age of 14. Anyone under that age will be removed from the system.

Respect Privacy

Respecting the privacy of others on is fundamental to our success. We absolutely do not allow the sharing of private and confidential information of others (or yourself) such as:

• Identity numbers or cards.

• Credit card information

• Personal information such as home address, telephone numbers or

• Any content (any media) considered private by law.

• Any images taken or shared without consent.

No Soliciting or Spam

Spam sucks – ain’t nobody got time for that! But we understand that PocketLIVE also acts as a promotional platform for our broadcasters to encourage support for their projects. We take a strong view against spammy or predatory behaviour that falls under the following categories.

• Solicitation of members to engage in sexual behaviour or share sexual images or videos of themselves.

• Engaging in sales utilizing the platform of any sort, including but not limited to marketing schemes and selling on-site commodities.

• Asking for broadcaster or other users to provide personal information.

• Duplicate accounts used in any way, including to boost a broadcaster.

• Rigging competitions with duplicate accounts.

• Disrupting a chat session with heavily repetitive behaviour or messaging.

• Posting links external to PocketLIVE to sites considered pornographic, malicious or law-breaking.

• Impersonating PocketLIVE onsite team to trick or coerce other users.

Don't Abuse the System

We fully encourage our amazing community to use the Props system to support artists, and indeed help them become the most visible on the platform. In addition to that, we see Props as a great way to encourage a little friendly competition on the platform – but we won’t accept people purposefully using Props to sabotage other users or broadcasters. Spam accounts, as mentioned above, are not allowed and will not be tolerated.

Respect Copyright

This might sound like another checkbox in a list of rules, but PocketLIVE takes copyright very seriously. Why? Because we are supporting a community of creators who have taken to our platform precisely because we feel they deserve to be rewarded for their

Broadcaster Guidelines

It’s a jungle out there, and that’s why we’ve decided to create some simple, easy to follow asks of our broadcasters to keep quality high, trolling low and your platform the curated masterwork it deserves to be.

No Nudity

We may be liberal folks at PocketLIVE but we also have a duty to our viewers to provide an elegant, streamlined experience. As such we ask that all of our broadcasters refrain from nudity – especially essential for those under the age of 18. We have viewers as young as 14 on our platform, and ask our talent to remember and respect that.

Art can push boundaries and we are willing to make exceptions under discussion, and reserve the right to allow content of a risqué nature should it be deemed as artistically or creatively important.

Be Kind

This might seem like a simple one, but we do not tolerate abuse of any sort on our platform. Racist, homophobic or bigoted remarks, behaviour or iconography on broadcasts will result in an immediate and robust response from PocketLIVE.

We’ve hand-picked you to be part of our movement, and we ask that you show the love back to users and fellow broadcasters. A kind, nurturing touch is important to us.

If you as a broadcaster are subject to abuse, we have your back entirely and can immediately bar offending users from the platform in perpetuity.

Respect Moderation

We’re here to help, and so please respect system moderators in their decisions. If you assign individual administrators to your platform, they must adhere to guidelines that prevent discrimination and are not seen to be abusing or wielding power in an unwarranted fashion. For assigned moderators to your channel, please refer them to the Moderation Guidelines.

Don’t be Spammy

Spam is the worst. We think you’ll agree, and that’s why we’ve tried to elevate our platform to escape the endless littering of e-spam on online channels.

• We don’t tolerate spam or marketing of any kind, although we encourage artists to promote activities external to the platform.

• We do not allow for artists to advertise external payment methods outside of the PocketLIVE Props System – including, but not limited to Paypal or Interac bank transfer.

• We don’t allow our broadcasters to broadcast with the sole aim of promoting another website or other channels.

• Spammy titles that are designed to drive people in with false promises are also a no-go, if you’re not dancing now, then a channel called ‘Dancing NOW’ may be subject to moderation.

Don’t Manipulate the System

We think we are presenting a unique proposition for our broadcasters and are hugely appreciative of everyone joining us on our journey. However we do realize that a select few may try and manipulate the system to work in their favour.

We keep a sharp in on what’s being broadcast, and the authenticity of users on the platform, and reserve the right to suspend viewers we feel are abusing the platform. This means that whilst we encourage broadcasters to generate as much Props as they can, we won’t tolerate abuse of the system, or utilizing sexual commodities in exchange for props.

Keep it Legal

We have a duty to the law here at PocketLIVE and that means no to illegal or graphic content such as

• Abuse of any kind. (Child, Animal, Sexual, Physical or Mental etc.)

• Highly violent content.

• Content which violates copyright laws

• Content which incites or galvanizes abuse, hate, or acts of terror.
